Fred's Head (French: Blaise le Blasé) is a Canadian/French co-produced animated sitcom which aired on Teletoon in Canada and on France 2 in France. Fred's Head is produced by Spectra Animation and Galaxy 7 in association with Teletoon and France 2. The show premiered on January 26, 2008 and concluded its first season on July 6, 2008, with 26 episodes produced and aired during its first season. No new episodes of the series have been produced since the first season ended, although the show has not been announced as being cancelled but is officially on an indefinite hiatus.
The show, set in Montreal, Quebec, follows the trials and tribulations of Fred Leblanc, a 16-year-old boy who deals with the adult world and all its quirks with some reservation. Fred's family, friends and acquaintances, many of whom possess varying types of eccentric personalities, frequently become involved in his adventures as he seeks to establish his identity and his place in the world around him.
