Plot Overview
An incredibly stupid man increases his intelligence and even alters his personality by use of a device that drains brain fluids from victims. The trio track it to a museum where Jack rekindles an old romance.

- Jack was once engaged to a woman named Viola. However, her work separated them. He later married a woman, but she couldn't take his travelling.
- Jack and Viola become engaged again, but Pangborn drains her brain fluid and she succumbs to brain damage. It's the first personal loss the group experiences due to the pursuit of the cursed objects.
