Plot Overview
Killface discovers that Xander Crews has disappeared. After arguing with Simon over his decision to not kidnap Grace Ryan, he learns from Sinn that both Arthur and Phil slept over. Arthur stayed over because he and Sinn are an item, but Lorraine kicked Phil out of their house after learning he has cancer.
Killface tries to coax Phil into leaving, but Phil feels that the apartment has a positive healing effect that's in line with his chakra. He also informs Killface that he's filing a lawsuit against him, claiming that the Annihilatrix caused his cancer. Killface decides to go shopping for bowls, since Simon broke the last one they had, and Phil tags along when he claims that he might be a little more favorable in the deposition if Killface let him come with. Phil spends $150 on shark oil, forcing Killface to access his checking account, but he learns that his assets have been frozen due to the lawsuit. An explosion goes off and a horde of radioactive ants begin to rob the bank at Antagone's command. She squares off with Killface until he learns that she wants to kill Xander. He gets his ass kicked and eventually has formic acid spit into his eyes by Antagone.
On the X-Calibur, Xander makes a last ditch effort to stay alive by saying that he's Awesome-X and that they can prove it with a genetic analyzer machine. The Xtacles leave Ronnie, the Eastern European Xtacle, in charge of Xander while they get the machine. Ronnie locks himself in a room with Xander and receives a message from the others that someone smashed the DNA machine. Ronnie reveals that he was the one who smashed it and is planning to glue a blonde wig to Xander's head and "making love to his face."
Later, the Xtacles blow up the door and find Ronnie tied to Xander's chair, his robot pants missing along with Xander. Outside, the jet boots cut out and Xander falls through a gazebo roof into a group of live action role-players.

Characters
- Grace: As a result of her encounter with the radioactive ants burrowing holes in her brain, Grace Ryan's personality has been split between her normal one and Antagone, a Hulk-like supervillain who robs jewelry stores and banks.
- Val: Val, the last remaining member of the marketing team is still in Killface's apartment. She's secretly living behind a wall, occasionally looking out from a movable panel in one of the Killface's portraits.
- Killface: Not only is Killface being sued for all he's worth by Phil, who claims that the Annihilatrix is radioactive and causes cancer, he's been blinded by Antagone spitting acid in his eyes. He, much like every other character in the show, has feeling for Grace Ryan as well.
- Xander: Xander manages to escape being kidnapped by the Xtacles, but not until after a blonde wig was glued to his head. He made off with some robot pants and collided with a group of LARPers.
Referbacks
- 1x03 - Pimp My Revenue: Killface idly wonders what happened to Val, who was last seen in Pimp My Revenue. She is apparently still wearing the Kabuki make-up that she was last seen in.
- 1x06 - Emergency Room: The radioactive ants inside Grace Ryan's head have indeed gained control of her body, resulting in the villain known as Antagone. Not, as the doctor suggested, making her into an ant queen who falls in love with a drone.
Trivia
The Show
- Headlines: One of the headlines on The Daily Citizen reads: "Crews' Parents Still Dead."
- 934: Ronnie types in 9-3-4 to lock himself in with Xander. 934 is also the area code of Xander's telphone number.
- Sightings: The hooker that Xander paid off and the Chinese dry cleaning guy can be seen inside Crews Savings & Loan.
Behind the Scenes
Allusions and References
- Not the Father!: In the flashback to the paternity tests, Awesome-X exclaims that Kevin is not the father. On Maury, a daytime talk show hosted by Maury Povich, a regularly occurring theme involves women getting paternity tests to find out the father of their babies. Povich exclaiming "You are not the father!" is a somewhat infamous phrase used by Povich in those shows.
- The Y: After learning that Phil has been kicked out of his house, Killface tells him there has to be a Y somewhere in the town. The "Y" is short for the Young Men's Christian Association or YMCA. YMCAs in the United States once functioned as a hostel with rooms called residences or dormitories in each branch. The idea was that YMCAs could be used as a safe and inexpensive place for a visitor to stay in an unfamiliar city, but later became better known for a place to pick up gay men for anonymous sex. As a result, YMCAs with residence are rare today.
- Blue Dahlia Diamond: Grace Ryan reports that the priceless Blue Dahlia Diamond was stolen. This is a possible reference to the Hope Diamond which was once part of the Blue Diamond of the Crown or the French Blue.
- Antagone: The name "Antagone" is a reference to Arachne. In Greek mythology, Arachne was a great weaver who believed her skill was better than that of Athena, the goddess of weaving. After a weaving contest between the two, Arachne attempted to hang herself after angering Athena. Athena took pity on Arachne, changing her into a spider and her rope into a cobweb. The term "arachnid" is derived from "Arachne." It's also a cheap pun on "antagonist."
- Waterloo: Killface remarks how the mall has become his Waterloo. The Battle of Waterloo, fought on June 18, 1815, was Napoleon Bonaparte's last battle. His defeat led swiftly to his final overthrow as ruler of France.
- LARP: When Xander falls through the gazebo, three men are talking about LARPing. LARP is an acronym standing for "Live Action Role Play," which is essentially a live action version of Dungeons and Dragons.
Memorable Moments
Quotes
- Antagone: Dog! Unhand my bullion.
Killface: Come again?
Antagone: Unhand it or suffer my wrath.
Killface: Now see here, woman! If anyones wrath is going to be suffered, it's mine.
Antagone: It's not wise to antagonize Antagone!
Killface: I'm sorry, Auntie who?
Antagone: Antagone!
Killface: Oh. Was "Betty Bug Lady" already taken? - Antagone: Aren't you tenacious. I find that very attractive in a man.
Killface: Umm... I am flattered, certainly. But I'm actually- well not seeing someone, but do like someone.
Antagone: Who!? That little mouse, Grace Ryan?
Killface: [gasp] You know her?
Antagone: [repeatedly slams Killface's head into her knee] Grace Ryan is a nothing! But Antagone is a woman!
Killface: Okay, once again the mall has become my Waterloo. [picks up a pipe] I surrender.
Antagone: A wise choi- [Killface slams the pipe across her face]
Killface: And the next one is right in the tit! Now you just piss off, bug lady! [Antagone kicks him backwards] My god I hate this mall.
