Plot Overview

The Planet Express Crew are facing a Trial concerning trespassing on a Forbidden Planet.The episode begins in flashback to when Fry,a fan of the original Sci-Fi Series "Star Trek" visits the Science Museum where he encounters the Head of Leonard Nimoy.Nimoy tells Fry that the Star Trek Cast have left Earth years ago Forbidden Planet.Fry with Leela,and Bender take the Planet Express Ship enter the Forbidden Zone to find the Cast of the Original Series.They find the Cast with their original bodies.When they left Earth,the Cast like Nimoy had only their Heads,but having been placed on the Forbidden Planet the Cast now have their Bodies,thanks to a Powerful Alien Force,who also happens to be a fan of the original Star Trek Series.The Alien wants the Star Trek Crew to live on the Planet,and reenact their characters from the Series.Neither the Cast of Star Trek,nor the Planet Express Crew are thrilled to the Aliens demands.They work on a way to escape the Aliens hold.They succeed up to a point where Zapp Brannigan arrests the Casts,and Crew on charges of entering the Forbidden Zone without consent.The Alien name Morbo is still pursuing them,and catches them.Morbo's reason for wanting the Cast of Star Trek to live on his Planet is because as a true fan,and fanatic,he can't live without them,and if he cannot have them,then nobody will.Fry reasons with Morbo that he must not live his life based on a TV Show.Morbo thinking about it believes Fry is correct,and releases the Ship.Morbo returns to his Home Planet,and the Planet Express Crew return to Earth.
