Get the Message was a game show that aired daytime on ABC.
Two teams, each of two celebrities and a civilian contestant compete to guess names, phrases and titles using one-word clues. The celebrities each write down their clues and give them separately to the contestant. Correct guesses score a point.
Three points wins the game, and that team plays a "turnabout" bonus round. The contestant gives clues to the celebrities. If the celebrity gets the word on the first clue, it scores $100. Getting it on the second clue is $50, three clues wins $25 and four clues wins $10. Three words are played.
