Plot Overview

A Plain Jane spinster arrives on the Island for the purpose of getting away from Civilization, and especially away from men.The woman Eva Grubb is tired of being rejected by men.Her last date suddenly developed a headache on her last date, and left.As a result of this Eva has decided to find what she thought was a deserted Island, and remain alone.Of course when she encounters the Castaways, she again disappointed.Having met Gilligan, and the Skipper, and told them her tale of love lost, they promise to leave the Island without her.She would meet the other Castaways.Having learned of her tale of love lost, and seeing how she feels, they decide to send her boat back to her as soon as they arrive back home. They also decide not to tell Eva about sending the Boat because of her state of mind she is likely to do something that might prevent them from going Home.Their fears about what Eva would comes true, thanks to Gilligan spilling the beans(he inadvertedly let it slip) about their sending the Boat back to her.She removes the sparkplugs from the Boat. After several attempts to try to convince Eva to return to Civilization all of which fail,Ginger comes up with a sure fire plan.Give Eva a make-over.With the help of Mary Ann,and Lovey Eva is transformed into a stunningly beautiful woman. Not only that, she is the spitting image of Ginger.Eva does'nt believe it,until she looks into the mirror. After one look,Eva's outlook on things begin to change.Listening to the compliments from everybody she decides to return Civilization. She gives the Professor the sparkplugs.Listening more about her appearance from the castaways gives Eva an inflated ego.She knocks Ginger unconsciece, bounds, and gags her for the purpose of taking Gingers place in Hollywood. Her attempts to fool the other castaways work for a short while, but they become suspicious, plus Ginger manages to untie herself, confronts Eva.Eva seems sorry for what she had attempted to do,and begs Gingers forgiveness.By the next morning Eva is nowhere in sight,so the castaways run to the Lagoon to find Eva,and the Boat missing.Only a note written by Eva is found. She lets the Castaways know that she was only pretending to be soory for her deception, and intends to return to Hollywood to become the new Ginger Grant. The Castaways are in disbelief, and Ginger cries.
