Plot Overview
Sgt. Carol Barnes, now a PR officer with the USO, wants Gomer to perform in an upcoming talent show, but Sgt. Carter refuses to clear Gomer to sing in the show. Gomer ends up going back and forth between practicing for Carol's show and doing cleanup duty for Carter, and it soon turns into a battle of wills and a tug-of-war between Carter and Carol, with Gomer as the proverbial rope.
