Plot Overview
Reva tries to convince Holly that the photo of Josh is a set up. Olivia tells Sam that someone in Gus Aitoro’s employ took the picture. Holly reprimands her, but Reva insists on looking into Olivia’s dirty dealings. Eventually, Holly gets through to Reva when she tells her that she needs to move on with her life away from Josh. Reva reluctantly agrees to accompany Holly on a business trip to Chicago. Sam boasts to Tony that he is going to be Marah’s new hero because he has proof that the photo of Josh bribing Vreeland is a fake. Fearing that his money-laundering scam will be exposed if Sam reveals that Lewis Construction is guilty of bribery, Tony calls Carlos and Johnny. They decide to set up someone who owes them a favor to take the fall for the bribery charges. Meanwhile, Sam tells Olivia about his new plan to get Marah to love him. Knowing what is on the disk that Sam found in Alan’s study, Olivia grows concerned and confesses to her crimes. She begs Sam not to save Josh and expose her. Sam is conflicted, but ultimately decides to discard the disk. Romeo, who has been following Sam, retrieves the disk from the dumpster. In Chicago, Edmund searches for a hotel room. Because of his unfortunate financial situation, he makes a deal to perform at a hotel lounge in return for room and board. In San Cristobel, Richard tells Dax how upset Cassie is about her inability to conceive a child. Dax suggests that Richard and Cassie adopt a child. Later, Dax meets with Mrs. Mayhew to discuss their plan to save the monarchy. They manipulate a meeting between Mrs. Mayhew and Richard, where Mrs. Mayhew pushes Richard to adopt a child.
