Plot Overview
Ross sits the Bauer, Santos, Cooper and Marler children down to tell them a Christmas story. He sets the scene for all the citizens of Springfield. At the mall, Rick, Danny, Frank and Buzz are getting their last minute Christmas shopping done. Frank and Buzz argue about the gifts they bought for Harley, while Gus purchases what Rick wanted to give Harley for Christmas. As their bickering grows, and the power blows, the men realize that they are locked in the mall. Gus uses his FBI badge to get a security guard to drive him to the Bauer cabin, but grows a conscience and decides to give Rick, Danny and Frank a lift while he opts to eat alone at Towers. Ross continues to spin how the Spauldings and Lewises have gathered to decorate their trees with their families. Josh and Billy, dressed as Santa and his elf, go to Towers to spread some holiday cheer. They find themselves face-to-face with Phillip and Lorelei, dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus. The odd couples argue over who will get to play Santa. When they realize how many children there are, Josh and Phillip decide to share the Santa responsibilities. Meanwhile, Reva gets in the elevator with Edmund and Olivia. When the electricity goes out, the 3 find themselves trapped together. They decide to put aside their differences and share dinner together in the elevator. Rick, Danny, Frank and Buzz arrive at the Bauer cabin while Ross is telling his story and Reva, free from the elevator, returns to her family. Simultaneously, Reva and Rick resolve to share their Christmas cheer with those who made it possible. Everyone meets up at Towers to share the holiday with Gus, Olivia and Edmund who were alone.
