Basic Information
Hannibal Lecter does not fit any known psychological profile. His behaviour is largely based on two factors: his personal amusement and intellectual curiosity. This, combined with his keen intellect, is how he's managed to allude suspicion from authorities. Hannibal doesn't appear to consider him equal to others, as many of his routine victims are those he considers rude and comparable to pigs and just for slaughter. He takes trophies from his victims in the form of a body part that he preps for food. Others that fall victim to him are ripe for his manipulation, put into positions by Hannibal to see how they react. His sophisticated taste from exquisite cuisines to classical music belie his monstrous habits.
Character History
Hannibal was born in Lithuania circa 1965. He was the older brother to his sister Mischa. At a very young age something happened that led the death of Mischa. While he denies killing her, he admits to eating her. As this event also presumably orphaned him, he was eventually adopted by his uncle Robertos and wife Lady Muraski at 16. Some time later he migrated to the United States when he was offered residency at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland. He practised surgery until he moved into the field of psychiatry.
