Highlander: Reunion is a short film based on the Highlander TV series, and currently remains the last onscreen entry in this continuity.

Plot Overview

• Joe is no longer Duncan's Watcher as he is now retired. As a result, he hasn't spoken to Duncan for months.

• Duncan is said to be in a relationship with a woman named Sarah and it seems serious.

• Amanda is in a relationship with a man, but it's just for his wealth and is still thinking about Duncan.

• Left alone together, Amanda and Methos contemplate the possibility of having been a couple.

• Methos is ready to marry a woman name Julia who has a son. He is committed to it, but after a battle with another immortal, he considers the danger and, despite the encouragement, decides to call it off.

The Show

• While not stated, official sources list the setting to be 10 years after the series finale.

• Many fans take the movie to be a confirmation that The Source isn't canon. This leaves it also up to debate if Endgame is canon, as well as The Raven due to their being no mention of Nick or Lucy.

• Outside of the Big Finish audio plays, there has been no further continuation of the TV series continuity to date.

• While Methos still has his familiar sword, Amanda is now seen with a katana.

• Streaming services that list this, do so as episode 14 of Season 6.

Amanda: I would leave out the part about raping and pillaging when you were one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I think it would be wrong to confuse her with too much information.

Joe: She loves you, Methos. And you are who you are because of who you were. If there's a problem, you work it out. It's what people do.

Amanda: Really? I usually just move to another continent for a hundred years or so.

Joe: You... are no help.

Amanda: But I'm so much fun.
