H2 (derived from History 2) was a documentary cable television channel, with focus to programs with historical thematics.
Founded as History International (HI) in 1996 by A&E Television Networks, the channel was rebranded on September 26, 2011 becoming H2 and taking over most documentary programs of its sister channel History, that has shifted into reality programming.
