Plot Overview

Hogan and his heroes receive a message from a woman named Myra who is selling food to the prisoners. She slips a note into Carter's drink to give to Hogan. It says that a new secret Underground contact named Robinson Cruesle wants to meet with Hogan later in the evening. Hogan is uncertain about the authentencity of the note, but will meet with this Robinson Cruesle. Hogan takes Carter, Newkirk and LeBeau with him. They meet with Myra, who pulls a gun on Hogan and identifies herself as a Gestapo agent. She forces Hogan and his men to surrender their weapons. She then leads them to the office of her boss, Robinson Cruesle, who's real name and Rank is Major Hegel. This Hegel knows about Hogan's operation, more than Hogan would imagine. He knows because he had a spy placed inside the camp, who gave Hegel a full report of Hogan's various activities. The agent has since been sent to the Eastern Front, on Hegels orders, where he was killed in action. Hegel wants Hogan to contact London and have $1,0000.00 worth of diamonds dropped for Hogan to give to Hegel in exchange for not turning Hogan over to Berlin. He will give Hogan one week to comply. Hogan and his men will be returned to camp to get to work in receiving the diamonds that Hegel wants. He has Kinchloe contact London, and they refuse the request. Hogan is not surprised by London's reply. They figure Hegel is monitoring their radio. Hogan has a plan to have Kinchloe use the emergency radio to contact London again. Figuring that Hegel doesn't know about the emergency radio, this time they'll ask for fake diamonds. This is part of Hogan's plan to get rid of Hegel and Myra. The other part concerns using Klink to trap Hegel, or to have Hegel killed by Klink's guards. Either way, Hegel will be gotten rid of.

Notes

Both Paul Lambert and Ulla Stromberge would make later appearances on the series.
