Plot Overview

Colonel Becker arrives at Stalog 13 from the Russian front. His purpose is to deliver some important plans in an attache case to Berlin. His appearance at Stalog 13 is just a stopover. Hogan is curious about the contents within the case. Becker catches Hogan and Newkirk. Instead of turning Hogan and Newkirk over to the Gestapo, Becker is willing to make a deal with Hogan. He will turn over the contents within the case to Hogan in exchange for being Commandant of the camp. Hogan earnestly thinks it over and decides to have Klink transferred. The contents within the case could prove valuable to the Allies. But getting Klink to willingly to go to the Russian front will be no easy task. Hogan, with the help of a beautiful Russian agent, succeeds to have Klink begging to go. Getting General Burkhalter to agree will prove harder than Hogan's getting Klink to agree. However, with Hogan's help, Burkhalter agrees to transfer Klink and appoint Becker the new Commandant. Becker decides not to hand over the contents to Hogan as Becker, being a loyal officer, plans to send the attache case with it's contents to Berlin. Further, as the new Commandant, he plans to find out exactly how Hogan's operation works. Hogan and his men shows him by forcing him into their tunnel with plans to send him off to England. Now Hogan and his heroes must prevent Klink and Schultz (whom Klink wanted to accompany him) from going to the Russian front. Needless to say, they succeed.
