Plot Overview

A charismatic community leader catches his wife and her lover together in bed and kills them both, then picks up his daughter from school and, without telling her what he has done, takes her to the family's cabin in the woods, hoping to explain things. Gillespie and the officers learn from the man's son, who is younger and was at school when this happened, that his parents had been fighting and there were hints of the father initiating domestic abuse against their mother. The officers eventually learn the whereabouts of the man and his daughter, whom he hopes to use as a bargaining tool to aid in his escape, but Gillespie and his team have gotten to his son first and hope that he will be the key to him surrendering.
