- As can be inferred from the title, the episode is a parody of the play Waiting for Godot.
- Dennis frequently uses the phrase "dolla, dolla, dolla bills". This comes from the Jimmy Spicer song "Money (Dollar Bill Y`all)", although it more likely comes from its later use in the Wu-Tang Clan song "C.R.E.A.M.".
