Jabberjaw is an animated comedy that aired on ABC.

Essentially, the show is a futuristic Josie and the Pussycats underwater as a rock group, the Neptunes, travel from gig to gig with their drummer mascot Jabberjaw (an anthropomorphic great white shark), only to get mixed up in a megalomaniac's plan to take over the world. Jabberjaw's characteristics are a mix of Curly Howard of the Three Stooges (right down to his "Nyuk-nyuk-nyuk" laugh) and Rodney Dangerfield (his catch phrase: "I don't get no respect!")

Jabberjaw would show up twice afterwards, as a guest appearance on Scooby's All-Star Laff-a-Lympics in 1977, and as a competitor on Yogi's Space Race in 1978 (called "Jabberjaws"). The Neptunes would reappear in 2002 on Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law as the defendants in a case where the Japanese group Shoyu Weenie (the Chan Clan from The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan) sue them for plagiarism. Jabber's head shows up in Harvey's bed in the episode "The Dabba Don." Jabberjaw would show up in 2011 on the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episode "The Mystery Solvers State Club Finals."

Jabberjaw was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. Warner Bros. Television is the show's distributor.
