Season Two of Jackie Chan Adventures premiered on September 8, 2001.

In this season, Shendu has been defeated, but is offered another chance by his demon brethren to return them to the real world. However, in the state that he is in, he can only possess one person, and once he possesses them, he cannot leave their body. He attempts to possess Jackie Chan, but instead possesses Valmont. Valmont and the Dark Hand agree to help Shendu release the demons into the real world, for only then will Shendu be able to leave his body. To release the demons, Shendu/Valmont steals the Pan-Ku box, but Shendu cannot touch this or he will be zapped.

Meanwhile, Jade forms the J-Team, including herself, Jackie, Uncle, Tohru (who turned to the good side after Valmont forced him to fight Shendu... and because Section 13 serves donuts on Thursdays), Viper, and El Toro Fuerte (the latter two of which they had met in Season One). It's up to the J-Team to re-seal the demons in the demon world.
