Jeopardy! (1984)/Tournament Format

The common Tournament Format of Jeopardy! features 15 contestants competing over 10 games in two weeks. The format is as follows:
- Quarter Finals: All five games of the first week each feature three different contestants.
- Semi-Finals: The first three games of the second week features the five winning contestants plus the four highest-winning non-winners of the quarter finals.
- Finals: The final two games of the second week feature the three winners from the semi-finals playing both days, with the winner being determined by the totals from both games added together.
