Plot Overview

Gina is having trouble letting Michael live his own life, Joey and Gina try to teach him how to pick up women. Joey is irritated by the notes his super leaves him.

Happenings

• Alex is revealed to be the super (actually, the super's wife, but does his job often because he's away a lot) who keeps sending tenants, including Joey, notes on what they are doing wrong. Because of this (she is referred to as the "Note-zi"), everone in the complex hates her. She doesn't tell Joey she's the acting super because they were getting along, and she doesn't want him to hate her, too. After finding out, Joey says he still doesn't hate her and wants to make sure their relationship is "good".

Referbacks

• When Joey formally introduce Michael to Alex, he stutters, struggles to speak and sweats his palms. In the pilot, Michael mentions that the "blond girl" neighbor makes his stutter come back.
