Plot Overview

A respected black owner of a service station is discovered to have escaped from prison over two decades earlier after being convicted of murder in a very biased trial. After avenues to have him freed close up, Judd has no choice but to have his client retried on the charge, but he's held back by his client's son, the leader of a black militant organization who's threatened to mobilize his followers to riot if his father knuckles down.

Memorable Moments

A well-photographed and edited scene near the end of the episode is the near-riot that takes place, with great edits of both cops with their hands ready to draw weapons and young black men ready to fight.
