Plot Overview

After a District Attorney's wife is killed by a car bomb meant for him, Judd worries that the man, a long-time friend and colleague, is going too far in trying to prove that his long-time nemesis, a gangster who hides behind legitimate businesses, is guilty of the crime. When the D.A. refuses to defer the case to his employees or turn it over to the state, Judd must take the only tack that he knows...defending the accused man.
