Plot Overview

Vincent gets a job teaching English and learns that his father was accepted into medical school, making him wonder about his father's happiness in selling insurance for a living; Amy and Bruce clash over the case of an African-American grandmother who wants custody of her 2-year-old grandson who is in foster care with a Caucasian couple; Maxine fights to keep a young deaf boy in the custody of his older brother.
