Plot Overview

When Amy fills in for a judge in criminal court, she is surprised when David McClaren and a defense attorney who was the best man at her first wedding are involved in the case; Maxine allows Ignacio to design her garden and he later takes her out salsa dancing; Maxine takes a chance in placing a boy who is about to be released from juvenile detention back to the custody of his formerly neglient mother; meanwhile, Kyle and Heather decide to give their relationship another shot.
