Plot Overview
While presiding over the case of a 10-year-old boy with a history of being involved in violent incidents, Amy & Bruce get into an argument with each other, and Bruce decides to quit his job to complete his master's degree in family counseling; just when Amy is given hope that Graciela Reyes will be released from prison, she is saddened to discover that Graciela was killed by gang members while in prison. In the end, Amy decides to leave the bench for good. Meanwhile, Maxine helps out a special needs foster family who is at risk of losing their house and Vincent is intrigued by the essays of a young prison inmate who is scheduled to be released.
