Plot Overview
Maxine tries to intervene when a teenage boy barricades himself and his younger siblings inside their house and starts shooting at the police; Amy hears the case of a teenage boy who assaulted a girl's abusive ex-boyfriend; when Amy refuses to give a pregnant woman custody of her first child, the woman flees town to make sure her second child isn't taken away; meanwhile, Lauren makes the family dinner for a school assignment.
