Plot Overview

Amy struggles with making several decisions during a short-calendar day (meaning the cases have to be decided in only one day) and later gets into a confrontation with Lauren's teacher after Lauren has problems in school; Maxine decides to come out of retirement when she is offered her old job back as a social worker.
