Plot Overview
Amy precides over the case of a father charged with physically abusing his son despite his claims that he was only disciplining him and deals with Lauren's behavior after she throws a tantrum over a costume for her ballet recital; Vincent becomes unsure about Donna being his new roommate, but later becomes helpful to her when she confides in him about her conjugal visits with her husband; Maxine works to find a placement for two disturbed siblings; Peter and Gillian find a surrogate mother.
