KATC is an ABC affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana. The station broadcasts on digital channel 28 displayed to tuners on virtual channel 3 and is owned by Cordillera Communications.
KATC first began in 1962 as an ABC affiliate has been affiliated with the network ever since, it also serves as the default ABC affiliate for Lake Charles since that area doesn't have an ABC affiliate of their own.
