KXXV is an ABC affiliate in Waco/Temple/Killeen, Texas (licensed to Waco). The station broadcasts on digital channel 26 displayed to tuners on virtual channel 25 and is owned by E.W. Scripps Company and also operates semi-satellite KRHD-CD channel 40 in Bryan/College Station.
KXXV first began in 1985 as an NBC affiliate, then in the fall of that year, NBC returned to KCEN-TV while KXXV became the new ABC affiliate for the area. On August 10, 2015, Raycom Media announced that they will be purchasing the Drewry Communications Group stations for $160 million. The sale was completed on December 1, 2015.
