Memorable Moments
- As Hank and Peggy have dinner at Sterling's place, he and Bobby recount the story of their latest venture that goes into a bit too much detail about the nature of the droppings, leaving both Hank and Peggy to pause in disgust with Peggy excusing herself.
- As Bobby and Hank get into an argument, Peggy is consumed with whether or not Bobby has washed his hands or still wearing the shoes he wore to work. It ends with him leaving and she taking a mop to clean his chair.
- Jimmy Witchard and some men approach Sterling in an obvious staged attack. Jimmy asks, "Do I do it now?" Leaving Sterling to nod, but it takes a few moments of the two exchanging nods before Jimmy proceeds.
Quotes
- Bobby: I was thinking, I've heard you talk about propane for 13 years, so maybe I should try something... fun.
- Dooley: My future starts today.
- Peter Sterling: At Earth Cleaners, we only do one thing, but we do it so sweet. We pick up poo.
- Bobby: We pick up poo?
- Peter Sterling: Oh, we pick up mountains of it.
- Bobby: Whose poo are we picking up?
- Peter Sterling: 90% dogs, 10% other.
- Bill: I told you guys we didn't have to leave the alley to see interesting things.
- Hank: My boy is gonna spend an entire week picking up dog poop for school credit. I hate to say this, but it seems like the system's not working.
- Peggy: Education today is so complicated. As a parent, I'd like to change things. Though, as an educator, I'd like people to mind their own damn business.
- Hank: Well, it feels like this is one of those things where if we support it now, we'll just wind up having to accept it later.
- Peggy: Bobby has to learn to make choices now. Do you want to spend the rest of your life making his choices for him?
- Hank: Well, why not? I do it for Bill.
- Hank: Well, did the third shower help?
- Peggy: No, it did not. I can wash, but I cannot wash away the memories.
- Dale: Now, pay attention to him. Our financial future is at stake. Notice the way he gestures gracefully with his hands. Look at his firm handshake and direct eye contact. He appears confident, but not at all like he wants to have sex with her.
- Dale: I don't want to put any pressure on you, Joseph, but your parents' marriage depends on this.
- Jimmy Witchard: Hey! It's the poo man! And he's picking poo!
- Peter Sterling: Oh, no!
- Bobby: Jimmy Wichard? What's going on?
- Peter Sterling: He's one of the Mashers!
- Bobby: The Mashers?
- Peter Sterling: Oh, I'm afraid so. They're just one group of many who take pleasure in hurting guys who do what I do.
- Bobby: But I thought you were the only one who does this.
- Peter Sterling: I am, which is why I get the crap beaten out of me on a fairly regular basis.
