Behind the Scenes

Allusions and References

  • Inez does a Desperate Housewives impression for Hank.
  • Dale asks Acea if he wants to come over to watch Grey's or Idol, obviously referring to Grey's Anatomy and American Idol, respectively.

Memorable Moments

Goofs

  • Enrique and Yolanda's daughter is turning 15, but in "Enrique-cilable Differences" Enrique tells Hank that their children have all moved out.

Quotes

  • Dale: I would not be involved in a quinceañera, Hank. Do you know what goes on at those things? I do. They sacrifice the oldest woman in the room to make room for the new, younger woman.
  • Hank: You're still working with that giblet-head? Why don't you just pass him off to another realtor?
Peggy: Because I have invested too much time with him to do that. It-It's like when you've lost so much money at blackjack that the only smart thing to do is keep playing.
  • Hank: Really, soccer? So you like sports, kinda.
  • Enrique: This music makes me feel weird and depressed.
  • Enrique: I don't even know these guys, Hank, but they always know me. It's real weird.
  • Hank: Boy, Enrique's neighbourhood sure has changed, I tell you what. All these "artists" moved in so fast. And they all look the same, real skinny and walk slowly.
Dale: The people you are referring to are hipsters. They walk slowly because they got no place to be, man.
  • Peggy: Hank, neighbourhoods change with time. Hispanics didn't always live there. Who knows who lived there before them? Native Americans probably owned those houses.
  • Dale: Hank. I'll be videotaping your speech. And the sacrifice.
  • Bobby: What do hipsters like? Cool things. So we invent a place called "Cooltown". In Cooltown, music's always playing and everybody drives convertibles.
Hank: Ugh, it sounds like Austin.
