Kinniku Bazuke (1995—) was a Japanese sports entertainment series broadcast on Tokyo Broadcasting System. In each episode, competitors attempt to complete one of 18 possible challenges which are declared "unbeatable." When a competitor completes the event, it is retired and, if applicable, the course is reconfigured so that it is more difficult for future challengers.
In 2002, production on the series was placed "on hold" when two contestants suffered serious cervical vertebrae injuries. In reality, the series has been cancelled and its time slot filled.
In the United States, a version of the series is broadcast on G4 as Unbeatable Banzuke. Much like Ninja Warrior, the English version of Kinniku Bazuke is largely subtitled, including English only host Kei Kato. However, descriptions of the events, player profiles and replays are narrated by voice actor Dave Wittenberg.
