Brian Cunningham is a fictional character from the series Knots Landing. He was portrayed by Bobby Jacoby from 1980–1985, and then by actor Brian Austin Green from 1986–1989 and in the 1997 reunion movie.

Character History

Brian Cunningham was born in San Luis Obisbo, California. He and his sister, Olivia, moved with their mother, Abby, to Knots Landing in 1980. Brian basically was the good, dutiful son, and even paying the price for it when Olivia fell into drug abuse. Olivia used Brian to transport drugs and money to and from her dealer, and when a deal went wrong, Brian was beaten and bruised. Abby kept a close rein on Brian, right down to monitoring what his activities were (ie. eating habits, watching television, hanging with friends). When Abby moved to Japan, he went to live with her. He returned in 1997, and married Kate Whittaker and has a child.
