Plot Overview
Frank Buckley went to prison for killing Cameron Gault's son Jay and he took a secret to prison with him. Now it's five years later and he's back in Laramie, paroled to Slim Sherman and there are those in town that don't want him back. His only allies are Slim, Jess Harper and Laurie Allen, Doc Allen's daughter. It doesn't help Frank's case that Cameron Gault raised him as his own and that Chad Morgan, Gault's foreman, has designs on taking over the Gault empire and he's going to use every dirty trick in the book to make sure Frank Buckley goes back to prison. Morgan also targets Slim by threatening the stage drivers and nearly killing Jess by wrecking a stage. It's only when the secret is revealed that Frank and Laurie can get on with their lives and set the record straight about Jay Gault's death.
