Behind the Scenes

  • Credit Additon: As of this episode Tamara Tunie appears in the opening credits as Medical Examiner Melinda Warner. She is the first medical examiner to have billing in the credits in the history of Law and Order. Incidentally, she doesn't appear in this episode despite getting billing.
  • Airing Hold-Over: Although this episode was filmed in season six, it was held off until season seven before being aired.
  • Where's Dogget?: Because Richard Belzer's character, Detective Munch appears in The X-Files, it's reasonable to believe that Robert Patrick would still be Agent Dogget in this universe. Instead, he plays the rapist in this episode.
