Plot Overview

Hal is left in charge of the boys while Lois is away and starts losing control of them; he and Malcolm end up in a fight which results in Malcolm running away to his girlfriend, Nicki's house where he stays in the attic; meanwhile, Francis gets annoyed with Otto and Gretchen's nephew constantly playing the piano whenever he moves.
