Plot Overview
While in San Francisco, Mannix has a chance meeting at the airport with a woman he dated briefly, who tells him that they can't meet up later as she's married. Shortly afterward, he is captured and threatened by thugs who warn him about taking a piece of their action. What he soon discovers is that his old flame is not married, but is being used as a pawn by smugglers who are holding her brother hostage unless she helps them out.
