Trivia

The Show

Even though Mannix clearly solved the case in this episode, this episode was used as the basis for Mannix's return to television, as a guest star on Diagnosis: Murder 24 years later. Dr. Sloan is Mannix's physician, clearly concerned about the health of his client, who not only has a bullet wound but a serious heart condition, but all Mannix cares about is solving an unsolved case...which turns out to be this one! Pernell Roberts, Beverly Garland and Julie Adams, who guest-starred in this episode, reprise their roles for the sequel.
