Marsupilami is an animated comedy that aired on CBS. It was the second of three mid-1990's Disney shows to feature shorts and a somewhat edgier comedy than Disney's previous TV productions - the other two being Raw Toonage and The Shnookums & Meat Funny Cartoon Show.

Premise
Each episode include three segements: the first being a newly produced Marsupilami short, and the last being a Marsupilami short previously aired on Raw Toonage. In between was one segment featuring other characters: Sebastian the Crab from The Little Mermaid or new characters Shnookums and Meat, who would lead their own series in 1995: The Shnookums & Meat Funny Cartoon Show .
With 13 episodes of three segments each, the series includes 39 segments in total: 13 new Marsupilami shorts, 13 Marsupilami shorts from Raw Toonage (leaving three remaining Raw Toonage Marsupilami shorts), 8 Sebastian shorts (one of which had aired as a hosting segment on Raw Toonage) and 5 Shnookums and Meat shorts (all of which would be included in episodes of The Shnookums & Meat Funny Cartoon Show .
