Plot Overview
Ben's neighbor, a city official who embezzled funds, is accused of killing a city councilwoman who was going to expose him. He pays a visit to the Assistant D.A. in the case, a recent transplant from Chicago, and bonds with the very likable man, but the bond may come undone when Matlock accuses him of having a conflict of interest in the case, and maybe even committing the murder himself.
