Trivia

The Show

  • Although a killer influenced by horror films is on par with the premise of the film Scream, the plot of murders revolving around a film being made based on "real" events is remarkably similar to Scream 3, which also starred Lance Henriksen.

Memorable Moments

Goofs

  • Ruby's pool scene is shot with multiple angles and includes a part that would include some special effects and stunt coordination despite all being filmed with one camera and in one take.
  • When watching the original Halloween with Emma, Frank comments on Michael Myers being Laurie's sister. However, this plot angle is absent in the first film, added only retrospectively in the sequel.
  • Frank observes that Mrs. Voorhees from Friday the 13th adopts a hockey mask persona, but she never dons the hockey mask, an iconic horror symbol that does not even appear until the third film. To add confusion to this, the tape that Emma puts in the VCR is Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.
