Characters
- Clay: For three seasons, Clay has complained about his "stinkin' dead-end job" with only one hint to what it was. In this episode, it's finally revealed that his job is mayor of Moralton. This revelation was foreshadowed in a previous episode when Miss Censordoll referenced the mayor while holding a figurine of Clay from her model of the town.
Referbacks
- 2x10 - Offensiveness: Orel managed to make eggs illegal after discovering that they came from a "naughty place between chickens' legs" with the begrudged help of Ms. Censordoll. In Alone, it was shown that Censordoll continues to consume eggs illegally.
- 3x04 - Alone: When Clay is tossing and turning in his sleep, he flashes onto some pieces from Miss Censordoll's segment from "Alone" in which she plots the takeover of Moralton. According to an interactive video commentary on AdultSwim.com, Stamatopoulos intended the segments from that episode to be each character's dream and suggests, in this episode, that Censordoll's segment may have been Clay's dream all along.
