Plot Overview
The killer is a brewmaster and businessman who's about to open his own brewery/restaurant. The victim is a fortune teller and Tarot card reader. Her body is found when a wall comes down during construction, exhibiting signs of mummification, which means that it had probably been there about ten weeks at the least. Betty is able to determine the cause of death as manual strangulation. Angie, Oscar and Lucas go through her list of clients and discover that the brewmaster's mentally troubled sister was one of them. Figuring out the relationship between the sister and the medium and also the sister and her brother points the detectives toward the motive. Oscar makes some personal and professional decisions after the diagnosis of his illness. Angie wonders how Maria Snow is connected to jail employee Janet Wang, who played a role in Caster's murder.
