Plot Overview
Sketches
- Letters Open: Bob and David correspond a la the play Love Letters, but David feels threatened and tries to escape Bob's wrath. (Link: Sarah Silverman as David is delivered to the Mr. Show set.)
- Kissing Booth: Sarah plays a man who is unsure whether French kissing another man is "gay", and David thinks it's unfair that he didn't get the role. (Link: David, Bob and Sarah examine a gay porn film.)
- Gay Porn Titles: The homosexual content of the opening credits of a gay porn film are repeatedly revised. (Link: The gay porn film is edited for television and becomes about a heterosexual couple on their honeymoon.)
- Third Wheel: Newlyweds argue about the best man accompanying them on their honeymoon, and he sings a mournful song about being a third wheel. (Link: The actors in the sketch introduce the writer in the audience.)
- Writers in Audience: The writer of the honeymoon sketch discusses the scene with his life-partner and their intrusive, oblivious friend. (Link: "We apologize for the homosexual content of this last scene. We now join this fiercely heterosexual sketch already in progress.")
- Screwballz: A dating game-show where the audience picks women for the men to have sex with. (Link: Bob explains that David's character might have offended some people.)
- Video Complaints: Disgruntled viewers of Mr. Show send in their complaints on video. (Link: Bob assures the audience that the next scene will generate even more complaints.)
- Borden Grote: An actor gets a lobotomy to prepare for a very minor role. (Link: Soul singer Larry Black tries to get his schedule straight.)
- Soul Singer: Soul singer Larry Black has trouble scheduling a night of sweet lovemaking. (Link: Larry's song gets interrupted by a phone call from a supermodel.)
- Supermodels Hotline: An offer to get constant phone calls from supermodels, whether you want to or not. (Link: "Supermodel Horror Film" is an entry in Bob's person Film Festival.)
- Film Festival Close: David insists on having his film shown at Bob's Film Festival. His "film" turns out to be the Mr. Show credits altered to minimize Bob's involvement, and it starts an epic fight between them.

- Urban Planning: David Cross squeezes his throat to make his voice sound "urban". He learned this from his friend from Emerson College, Mike Drazen, who is credited in the sketch "Screwballz" as "Fred's vocal coach".
- Killed by the Guild: The WGA did not allow any alteration of the writing credits, despite the fact that the idea originated with the writers themselves.
