Murder One is a legal drama that aired for two seasons on ABC.
The first season was arguably the first mainstream TV show following a single case through all the season's episodes. A young girl, Jessica Costello, is found strangled in bed, and movie star Neil Avedon (Jason Gedrick) is arrested for her murder. Ted Hoffman (Daniel Benzali) of the firm Hoffman and Associates takes on his defense, and the rest of the season follows the defense lawyers' continuing efforts to dig up evidence of Neil's innocence.
The second season followed three seperately murder cases, and saw large changes in the cast: most notably Anthony LaPaglia replaced Daniel Benzali as the leading character of the show. This season .
