The Host Segments
- Opening Segment - With Christmas fast approaching, Crow volunteers to be frozen and turned into a Christmas tree.
- Segment One - Since turning Crow into a tree worked so well, Joel considers turning Tom Servo into a snowman. Joel takes a caller who wants to know who does his hair.
- Segment Two - When a viewer calls in and asks why Joel doesn't have Godzilla on the show, Gypsy agrees to impersonate the giant lizard.
- Segment Three - Joel and Tom Servo take more calls from fans. One caller takes about how much he loves giant turtles who "breathe fire and shit."
- Closing Segment - Joel shows Crow being turned into a Christmas tree again. Joel and Gypsy sing a holiday song to finish the show.
Notes
- Trace was out of town during the filming of this episode, and for reasons unknown Josh did not appear in the theater. This means that Joel is in the theater alone during the entire duration of the episode, and since the riffing was improv at this point the theater segments are very poor.
- This is the only entry in the Gamera series in which Gamera doesn't do battle with another monster.
- Gamera was produced by Sandy Frank, who was very upset over the treatment of his films on the show. As a result, he refused to renew the rights for their broadcast and the episodes featuring his movies could not be re-aired once the rights expired.
- Gamera is one of the KTMA episodes that was re-done in a later season (3x02 - Gamera)
