Plot Overview

The Movie

A U.S. satellite crashes into a UFO. The UFO is damaged and crashes in the Arizona desert. With an election fast approaching, the current U.S. administration covers up the UFO crash and ships the UFO to hangar 18. They blame the destruction of the satellite on two astronauts. Determined to clear their names, the two astronauts go in search of the UFO so they can expose its existence to the rest of the world.

The Host Segments

  • Opening Segment: Joel barely has enough time to introduce today's film before the movie sign goes off.
  • Segment One: The Satellite of Love is about to be hit by a meteor shower. Joel acts melodramatic about the consequences of this.
  • Segment Two: Joel erases Crow's memory banks to clear out stupid junk like memories of Punky Brewster.
  • Segment Three: Joel goes into Crow's memory banks to view his earliest memories. Joel tells Crow that his name stands for "Cybernetic Remotely Operated Woman," but he eventually reveals that he's joking.
  • Closing Segment: Joel announces that fan club membership has reached nearly 1000 members. The 1000th member is promised self-satisfaction and a demon dog prop.

Notes

  • The advertising campaign for Hangar 18 touted it as being a non-fiction picture that would reveal the truth about UFOs.
