The Show
Behind the Scenes
- Although Thomas F. Monteleone's short story is credited as the basis for this episode, it actually isn't. The producers had bought the rights to adapt his story "Rehearsals" (from the anthology book 999), but didn't get to it before the end of the season. As a show of respect, they attached his name to this episode despite his total lack of involvement. Monteleone, who had been watching in anticipation of seeing his story adapted, developed a potent distaste for the show and therefore did not appreciate the gesture.
