Olympic Games

The Olympic Games are an international multi-sport event held every four years. The games have been divided into two editions separating the winter sports from the summer sports and since 1994 the two editions have occurred in alternating two year periods. Each cycle of the Olympic games lasts two weeks and traditionally are a huge television draw. The Olympic Committee itself gets nearly all its financing from selling the broadcast rights to the games around the world.
